Oral Medicine is an emerging specialty in dentistry and deals with the diagnosis prevention and management of the diseases affecting the oral mucosa and other oral- facial structure. The subject is taught to undergraduate dental students and prepares these students for clinical management of various oral-facial problems. The course trains undergraduate students in the academic and clinical department to adopt c clinically proficient, scientifically orientated, analytical, and ethical and evidence based approach for the community.
