Our periodontology department is a hub for exceptional patient care, education and scholarly works at graduate level. We believer in the importance of prevention and high clinical standards and was instrumental in the introduction of dental hygienists into practice and implants into specialist periodontal practice.
The department of Periodontology is an integral part of Islam Dental College. We are committed to optimizing the general health of our patients and the community through providing superior periodontal care. Periodontology is intended to provide a sound and intensive knowledge of the basic principles of the etiology, progression and pathology of periodontal tissues as well as the diagnosis and management of advance periodontal diseases. Initial therapy, nonsurgical management, and simple surgical procedures also from part of this one year subject taught in BDS.
